the childling has taken up singing. which is lovely
but unsettlling when he's singing along to the who's behind blue eyes

(even though i love that song... it's not written for four year olds.)

the childling has been told one of the reasons we can't get him a puppy is that our house is too small (and we don't own it.)

childling: why don't we have a big giant house?
mom: because we don't have enough money.
childling: we have to get a giant money so we can get a big giant house.
