Although, if you ask the NaNoWriMo word counters, I have written 65005 words. I'm sticking with the RoughDraft word counter, though.

I'm not done with the story, either. I'm going to finish it in December, though. Seriously. I want this first draft finished, so I can edit it in March.

Ok, there is no way I can tell this story in less than 75,000 words. These last three days of November will be busy for me, and I doubt I have it in me to write 5,000 words a day at the moment ( Read more... )

I had no trouble writing 50k, but since I made that, all kinds of stuff keeps coming up and distracts me from writing. I really want to finish telling the story in November. If I don't do that, I suppose I have to sign up to NaNoFiMo in order to finish the first draft in December ( Read more... )

Since reaching 50k, I have only written about 650 words. Well, as a matter of fact I wrote a lot more, but all of them for some stupid project at work which had to be finished by Friday evening.
Ever since then my right hand and wrist hurt.

I'm aiming for 40k today... three more hours, better go on writing, then.

Well, and then I slow down again. Week 2 slump, I reckon.

I'm getting faster every year.

Off to work now.

2001 words today. Weekends have never been good in terms of the word count for me, with the exception of the first year maybe. Ah well, I'm still way ahead.

So yeah, I'm scaring myself. I didn't even get up until 11.30 a.m. because I've caught a mild cold.
