Harper was already convinced that this was going to be a Very Exciting Week. Why? Because there was a TALENT SHOW. It was quite possibly the last thing she had expected at Hogwarts but it was bound to be amazingly amusing. If not rather embarrassing for those involved.
That was precisely why she wasn't planning on doing anything for it. Well, that and the fact that she didn't really have any talents that she could show off at a talent show. Even if she went mad and had some inclination to do something in the show, the only talents she had that she could think of were putting on make up and making clothes. Not really talent show material.
But she certainly wouldn't shed a tear over it. Watching, and probably laughing if one was going to be honest, would probably be more fun anyway. She would have to check the sign up sheet later to see what everyone was doing so she could get herself properly excited and pumped up for the event. But currently, she had better things to do.
Like read about how grey was the new color for the season and wide leg trousers were in. As was some new egg shape, which she honestly thought was rather unattractive but who was she to question fashion?
Really, what else was a girl to do on Monday night? Work? Pfft, that was a crazy thought. Like Harper ever did her homework, especially when there were magazines to be read.
