Up until last week, I always said I had no interest at all in surgery. Then I went to the OR in Petersburg. From Wednesday to Friday, I saw 4 C-sections, 3 hysterectomies, 4 cateract removals, one knee scope, one carpal tunnel, and 3 tubals (one postpartum). I'm going back for more this week. I just find it all very fascinating. The 3 doctors (one general surgeon, one OBGYN, and one orthopedic) I have watched are all very good. I got to wear OR scrubs (O R they?).

Last Monday, Levi found a small kitten along the road someone just threw out. It is probably only 4 weeks old. Her name is Itsy and all black... so f'ing cute. Very playful and friendly, though she gets into everything (and has gas. haha). We already have Duck and the Sneak as inside cats so Dad says Itsy has to become a barn cat, but I am not sure if that will happen (Mom is getting attached).

Last weekend, I went to Erica's sister's wedding and had a blast. Then I went to visit her after her surgery, though I don't think she remembered much of me being there. I have since been trying to convince her that her body actually needs to recover and she must rest (too active to stay down, my, my!)

Otherwise, not too much. In one month, I will be in orientation for med school. That is odd to me. In 2 weeks, BEACH!!!!! :)
