I got my license!
I finally got something of significance accomplished!
Today, I got my license, and it is invigorating. I'm so excited! True, it isn't official until I go to the Secretary of State on Monday, but still. This represents freedom to me, and I cherish that freedom. True story.
Getting my license was the major thing I wanted to accomplish with my 10 days of summer (damn you summer semester!) So...I did! The next step is to get everything registered with school so I can park in the employee lot for 10 cents an hour instead of the ramp at $1.40 an hour. Considering because of work and class on the same day, I will be on campus 12 hours, I would rather park for 10 cents an hour. It sure would save me a lot of money that I sure don't have at the time.
But anyways, that is my major exciting news. I also talked to an amazing parrot today. Well, parrots are amazing in general, but this one was sweet. He made up his own word called 'drylove' I don't know what it means, but apparently he does!
