Medical advice from the masses!

So let's say my right foot/ankle has been hurting for about two months now, steadly increasing in pain, from what I believe is a collapsing arch. In between now and the time I actually go to get it looked at, which of the following should I do:

a-Bind my foot with an ace bandage to hold it still when it hurts because the deep pressure kind of helps.
b-Wear more supportive shoes (boots instead of chucks, etc)
c-buy a Dr. Scholls insert thingy
d-never leave my bed

I like the last option. Today was the first time that it hurt so bad that I actually had to sit down. Not fun...
