Bridge Drama

I was sitting in the Bridge Cafe just now, and I was looking out the window at all these bikers going down the path towards Greenwich, and right before she was about to go under the bridge this biker hits a huge rock off to the side of the path and goes flying over her handlebars. She landed on her head on the ground, about three inches away from another huge rock. I sat and watched as a crowd gathered, a friend of hers came rushing over to her and knelt down, and someone got out a cell phone. Gradually she managed to move her hands up to her head, and then roll over sideways, and eventually sit up. Around that time an EMT and pub safety officer arrived, and the crowd dissapated, except her friend. The EMT did lots of fancy medical stuff (I couldn't see because the girl's back was towards me) and after about wenty minutes, the girls tood up and got back on her bike and rode away.

I don't know why I thought that was signficant, it's just that I spent about forty minutes watching it from start to finish and I feel like it's something that ought to be documented. Don't ask me why. It just is.
