There was a floor party in a Poirot shoebox. With munchy things to nibble and tea and chocolate Gu (which are small chocolatey creatures which roam the grasslands of Patagonia. Honest.) There was discussion about the Intellectual Tellitubbies - Thinky-Winky and Artsy-Fartsy (alas, haven't come up with others to complete the set) and about whether squirrels sound like Donald Duck when they make the endless rasping chittery noise. (They do!) There was general burbling and recitation of Gashlycrumb Tinies because Edward Gorey is brilliant.
A rant of mine that contained the phrase 'this is my happy face' snapped out in derision sent Blade into paroxysms since she never thought she'd hear my utter that phrase.
This then turned into a long game of 'things we were least likely to say'. ('I'm a Scientologist', 'pink is my favourite colour' and 'I rate David Cameron as the strongest statesman of our time' were some of the ones we came up with. There were lots.)
It was a good game and had us giggling 'til it hurt. And so - MEME! Answer and repost!
