Valentine's Day.

Mine contained staring at things and then staring at Hornblower because at least that was staring to some purpose.

Then there was dressing up as a Necromantic Guard - although with a lot more eyeliner. I heartily recommend dressing up to anyone who is miserable. It is a happifying thing. (And I'm still in love with my coat.)

There was going out and drinking eyeballs. In coffee. Coffee flavoured eyeballs. I think this is some sort of dessert on Corvidia.

Then there was talking rubbish in a pub and almost successfully auctioning the tricorn I was wearing for £500. Pity the drunks lacked the courage of their conviction and bowed out at the last minute.

Back home I talked to a ghost and a knight, berating the first and attempting to explain Bedlam to the second. (It's a building and a kingdom and a power and a person. All at once.) Then I organised a visit to the Imperial War museum, tea with a friend, a quest and a visit.

I'm coming to the conclusion I shouldn't be allowed to talk to anyone when I've had two pints of cider and some vodka too - gods know what I say.

Ah well.

I'm off to see Blade now to discover what she's up to.
