Not that there were other parts, but I see one more flake of that wretched white stuff, I'll scream. SNOW SNOW SNOW. Of course, now it's sleeting. It's that time of year again... MediaWest*Con!
Yup, it's 100 and some odd days till MediaWest*Con happens, and it's up to the 35th year. Wow... programming is open for suggestions now. Benedict Cumberbatch's Sherlock won't air on PBS till this coming Sunday so I'm sticking my fingers in my ears. No spoilers. LALALALALALLAA!
There's still nothing that grabs me fannishly like Stargate Atlantis did, although Sherlock comes close. I do watch CBS's Elementary and it's good and entertaining. Big Bang Theory is still the only comedy I ( Read more... ) -
Mediawest*Con 2013, part 2: Food, zines and doors
I think I blew most of my budget on food. It's easy to do when you eat out, even when you get a free continental breakfast!
However, a group of us did go see Star Trek: Into Darkness, and I can see why fans are so enamored of Benedict Cumberbatch. He was fantastic as the bad guy, whose name I will not post for the 2% of fans who have yet to see ( Read more... ) -
Mediawest*Con 2013, part 1: My weekend with Elvis
Yup, another Mediawest*Con has come and gone and for the first time in a long time, Elvis went to the con. Since our third roomie roomed with two of her friends, Elvis shared the bed with me, at least for two nights, until I realized he was always deflated in the a.m, so I booted him and brought in the snake instead.
