Thank you all for helping make Pat's birthday special!
Pat did ride 70 miles and he came home very tired, but very happy. He was really pleased by all the messages he received wishing him a happy birthday. I made sure he knew about each one. I got take-out from his favorite Mexican restaurant and we had a good meal and lots of fun talking. He also got more phone calls in the evening. It really was a good day, and each of you helped make it so. Thank you!
This morning I'm off to work early because I have a report I have to get out before I go to see the retina specialist at 9. This is just precautionary, so I'm not concerned. It's just the smart thing to do with the whole detached vitreous thing.
Yesterday was busy as fuck. I barely got out of my desk chair all day. But I solved a lot of gift card problems and made people happy and managed to get a lot of work done on this week's report, which I would really like to finish today so I'm all caught up - for the moment.
We shall see how it goes.
