Phone is still missing. I had a very vivid dream that it was in the recliner part of the couch, I checked it very thourhouly and all I came up with was 3 crayons and a chapstick. Just got a call from my mom. Apparently after 6 or more months of living in a roach infested apartment on a friends sofa my brother has had enough and is ready to get out of his situation. He called up Mom and asked her for our phone number. I guess he has some sort of idea that he will stay with us until he can get a job ( Read more... )

I just finished a half hour long conversation with my mother about possible lesbian moments and what lube works the best.

Apparently a few weeks ago Joe had a conversation with my mom where she said she thinks of me as a friend rather than as a daughter.

I believe I now know why things are so weird between us.  Somewhere along the line she forgot that she squashed me out of her crotch.

My mom was in a car accident last night. She came out fine but her mid-life crisis car (an '11 Camaro) didn't fare so well. I told Joe about it last night when he got home from work, he asked if he should call her and give his condolences. I laughed at that, but the more I think about it the more I like it.  I have not fallen off the face of the earth.  With out the internet at home and any trips to the library involving a wiggly 4 month old much of my internetting has been get on, check email, check FB, get off.  School starts up again at the end of August and with daily access to computers at school and Maddie in daycare I'll be much more active in ( Read more... )

I don't know what to think about all this.  First off, I'm not surprised, I wish that I could be but I'm not.  The first time the police brought him home he was 12.  I just keep hoping that he'll get it through his thick scull that this is not the way to go through life.  He's one of the smartest and most charasmatic people I know but he is a damn ( Read more... )
