(no subject)
it's sunday. tj and i came back to clarksville today. my mom fixed me fried chicken, mashed potatoes, homemade biscuits, and green beans. it was delicious and she made me cookies to take home which fucking rules. she got me pancake mix and syrup and midol to take with me too. it's crazy how we didn't even get along while i lived here but now i miss her every day and can't wait to see her. that's what everybody always says happens but i didn't believe it. my babygirl kitten, MJ, has gotten so big!!! i miss her so muchhh. she doesn't even know i'm her mommy anymore, i don't think. =( my church (even though i haven't been in sooooo long) put together a ton of stuff for me, they did it for all the highschool graduates, kind of like a college survival thing. laundry baskets, first aid kits, tons of pens/highlighters, computer paper, tylenol, a lamp, like $75 in walmart gift cards, towels, rags, laundry detergent, silverware, just TONS of stuff. and most everything is pink which is awesome but i kinda doubt tj will like carrying the laundry in a bright pink laundry basket hahaha. oh well it doesn't matter i do all our laundry anyway. but i loved it and i thought it was super sweet of everybody from church to go out and purchase things for all the kids.
i'm getting $1150 back from scholarships which is awesome. i'm so glad i didn't slack off in school (that much).
i did really well at work yesterday. i get a 35% commission for how much i do for the company, and i've totaled it and in 3 days time i've made about $266. in three days. i used to get even less than that in two weeks. they say you get out of it what you put into it and i've been working my ass off, so i'm glad. the boss is always saying how our job is different, and not everybody can do it, i mean... we are THOSE people. we are those people that try to get you to buy stuff outside of wal-mart and stuff. it's not a glamorous job. it's not really fun. it is very very odd. and everybody that works there knows it, but at the same time we don't care. as soon as that paycheck comes it's going to all be worth it. plus, i don't really have a problem talking to strangers. i did get a paycheck on friday for one day of work, and it was $62 after i got a few bucks deducted from tax. $62 IN ONE DAY. are you kidding me? times that by 6 days a week and that's $372, without my commission! i'm excited about it. it took me forever to find a job. i just hope i can work it out once school starts.
