Whatever I do, if it is for my own pleasure, I feel guilty about it. I spend a lot of mental energy on arguing about how it is ok to buy something or do something, but I still feel uncomfortable about it.

Mostly my job is quite easy, as in I go to see people with cognitive difficulties, and listen to them and their families and carers, and make what I hope are helpful suggestions. Mostly people are happy to see me, even if they had forgotten that I was coming or even that they had ever seen me before. As a lot of problems are accentuated by anxiety ( Read more... )
