(no subject)
so my computer is fixed now--yay...finally! they erased everything, which is actually kind of cool because i get a fresh start and all the obnoxious stuff is gone. i had to re-install everything though (norton anti-virus, mozilla, aim, adobe creative suite, etc). and it cost $70. and i swear to god if it fucks up again...let's just say ky will not be a very happy camper :-)
today was the first day of classes. 8-10:50 AM-fashion construction-sounds like it's going to be pretty cool. my teacher seems really nice, and a junior in the hallway told me that he's really flexible. also, they're going to teach you how to sew. 2-3:15-biology-ugh, i hate science. but it doesn't seem like it's going to be that hard...but we'll see. 4-5:15-english 200 writing and rhetoric work-i don't really like the time of this class, but it was all i could fit in. it seems like it might be a decent amount of work (wah) and the professor seems pretty cool. i start the rest of my classes on monday, and then i have bio lab (ugh) on tuesday.
this past week...well i had planned for it to be really fun, but between parking garage hassles, activating my vcu card, computer issues, figuring out what to do about the cable, etc...it's been stressful. but i think everything is straight now, and i'm gradually figuring out what i need for the apartment and stuff like that.
