I'VE ONLY BEEN HERE FOR TWO DAYS, AND ALREADY MY COMPUTER HAS CRASHED. [i'm in the library right now]
i dropped it off at online@vcu, and supposedly for $35 an hour, they're going to be able to fix it. watch it take 4 hours or something :-/ oh yeah, and they said they might have to erase everything and create backup files. lovely.
this shit is really starting to piss me off. i went out and spent $50 on an anti virus program, and it does nothing because my computer was so fucked up from before. i was up until 6 AM last night trying to fix it--all it does is show the desktop background--NOTHING else. i tried re-installing windows-didn't work. if vcu is all about wanting us to use blackboard and webmail and shit like that to be all modern and shit, then they NEED to do something better with their damn internet service so that no one's computer gets viruses on it!!!!
on a lighter note, nadia (one of my suitemates) is moving in right now, and rachel (the last one) is coming later on. nadia said that grc has a major problem with viruses, by the way.
