I've been writing, but what I haven't been doing is subbing. In part that's because during the semester, when I'm not teaching and meeting any other deadlines, what time I have I want to devote to getting words on the page. The submission is in the mail. The proofs were waiting. The last AA has been made and that project is essentially over. (The printer is  printing and binding.) When I actually have a copy in hand, I'll tell you all about it.

Now to take the brownies out of the oven, in preparation for BDs arrival home tomorrow.

I was just about to post on my latest run-in with technology, when my hand inadvertently slid over something on my keyboard and the post vanished. Making the count 2 and 0 for technology today.

Mom is home from the hospitial, doing well. Tuesday when I want over to visit after I taught, I stopped to pick up the family history (or the chapter of the family history) that she has had printed.
