What to Read on a Snowy Day
We are having snow in Northern New England, but right now I am on a tropical isle in another universe reading the great and marvelous Nation by Terry Pratchett.
It is so very, very satisfying, like a good meal after a long afternoon's sledding. Terry Pratc.hett has such an amazing abililty to say the deepest things through story so that they become clear and stick in the mind and he knows people so well, not to mention being able to mix the humor of the human situation into its darkest moments.
Even if you don't read fantasy, IMHO, you should Read This Book!
