Dear Distractions
No progress on my wip today, although I met deadlines and did some desk-clearing stuff--typing minutes. But my dad was having a knee replaced this morning and waiting to hear how it had gone this early afternoon took most of my attention. He came through the surgery fine, but when someone is 82, there's an extra worry. Your thoughts and prayers for his continued recovery would be appreciated.
I'll be driving to the other side of the state to see him tomorrow. Let's hope we don't get the snow they've predicted.
If anything gets done on the wip this week, I'll be lucky, but I'll also be trying to get other things done so I have more time for it next week. Sometimes you have to go with life's flow. People are more important than things.
