jbknowles about the silence of snow. Even if it is October, something about the first snow always makes me think of Ezra Jack Keats' The Snowy Day
While I know the snow won't last, and I'm much too old to go out in it and make tracks (ha!), when it looks like this
it's a great day to start a fire, think about soup, and get some writing done.
Creative writing? Well, that depends on whether you consider making up a syllabus creative or not. I'm still in clearing the decks mode, but the weather means I didn't drive 1.25 hours x 2 to visit my dad and also see an old friend today, but got some work done.
