Life update
I should be working right now, but screw that! Well, actually I am kind of working, the tabs I need are open and I'm heading off out for a meeting in London after this, but whatever.
There is absolutely no point to this post other than to say I'm insanely busy at the moment. I'm working on a film and somehow (I'm still trying to figure out how) I have gone from being an assistant to pretty much running things! It's all very exciting and fantastic experience which will hopefully mean I can get a boost up on the old career ladder. So far it's not even been too stressful, which is very nice, it's just the excitement you get from being busy. Filming starts soon (literally in a couple of weeks) so I won't be around at all.
Also I had a kind of job offer the other day, but I don't think I can take it. I'd be doing corporate videos which would have been really good mainly because it was decently paid, but because of this film I won't be able to start until June and I have no time to edit a showreel. Also it was down near Bath so I'd have to rent a place, which isn't the end of the world, but there are fewer connections to make down in Bath/Bristol and I want to go into producing more than camera or editing. It's a shame because I'd have been working alongside a friend from uni and it would have been fun, but c'est la vie. Fingers crossed something better is round the corner.
