A Simple Dinosaur
Lil' Matt finally got his tattoo this week. This was the film that inspired him to become a filmmaker. When he first told me of his desire for something like this, i thought it might be a little logo'ish, but i really love this stylized version. OK, i love his calf, period. LOL!
We haven't had the chance to spend any time together since they moved to town late last summer, so it was fun to go see a pretentious, Oscarbait movie while Matt & Robert killed zombies. The film was "A Simple Man" and Colin Firth really was amazing and the film was beautiful and the knowing touches and art direction were wonderful. The knowing-glances, the burning inside, the period detail, the Angora sweaters (LOL!)...a great eye. If you're gay and of a certain age, this will touch you. If you're young and of the internet age, you may not get it. See it with a Daddy you love.
