Not Quite "Up In The Air"

The light snow in St Louis made it a challenge to get to the airport. There were 4 wrecks on the Inner Belt alone, one of them a 5-car pile-up. But even though i arrived 40 minutes later then usual, within 10 minutes i was at the gate 20 minutes before boarding which occurred on-time at 7. Even with de-icing, we were headed down the runway at a decent time and...circled back around to the taxiway. As we were taking off, the tower notified us of a one-hour ground halt in MSP due to the even heavier snow there. An hour on the plane, another hour in the terminal when it was clear that the gas and de-icing would have to be supplemented. Three hours late in all.

This is the C Concourse in STL, the floors George Clooney roams in "Up In The Air". The Brooks Brothers and the CNBC store across from it where he says on the phone that he's never alone are just up the way. AA made a big deal out of the movie, but they are abandoning STL in just a couple months. i've signed up with Delta and Southwest is an option as well. Just depends on schedules. *sigh*
