I have trouble with names...  Changing them, to be specific.  When "Cy Deer" became "Lemonade Coyote", I struggled with it.  I preferred nicknames like, "Mr. 'yote" to "Lemonade".  In death however, he is Tim.  I don't know why that changed in my head...  But it was like a switch.  I knew his name before, but it just never registered as him.  Now, ( Read more... )

On Friday night, my father called to let me know that my Aunt Pam was in the hospital, just up the road from me.  She'd been growing steadily more and more sick over time and it was expected that the end was near...
