(no subject)
Worked again today, 5th school day in a row...a pretty good streak. It's nice because had a bit of a dry period. A lot of the kids have been saying 'Hey Mr.Woody' as they pass in the halls lately, always makes me feel good.
My current idea for a job is writing for greeting cards, I've looked into it on a couple sites. Am going to send some samples to one company. It's worth a try. I just need to start taking action on the ideas I have rather than just thinking about it. This is MY year to do something with myself and the first month is already about gone and I haven't done anything.
For one card company they provide some samples and supposed to provide the punchline, which of course is supposed to be funny.
First one is...Women are like fine wine....
Wanted to try something rather than the obvious, better with age but think I failed...I tried my lines on a friend and they weren't impressed. So I have to think again.
The next one is...Why not this year, celebrate your birthday like a real man? No ideas for that one yet.
And the last is a retro picture of a woman standing in a kitchen....I need to work on that one too.
Looks like I'm not cut out for this business either.
