I cannot express in words what this evening and these past few months have meant to me. But as I stood in front of the candlelight circle for the first time to blow out the candle, I was able to say, with an aching heart:

It's too bad that the radical fundamentalists have to screw up religion for the rest of us...

They come to me in waves, weakening me every so slightly, just little by little. Feelings rush back that I haven't felt in months, years, ever. I get lost, but I don't stay lost. But after I become oriented I am again thrown back into oblivion, alone, with no one to understand.

Ok can I just say that I really really miss Michael Dunn...is that weird? I haven't spoken to him since I was 7 years old. He was my first real crush and my first real friend...my best friend.
