I had my second class with Cairo Fusion last night. It's going well, besides having to look at my big ass in the mirror for an hour and half!
I found out that my instructor is bringing in Zoe Jakes for Fusion Fest 2008! She is part of the Bellydance Superstars and The Indigo, so it's a big deal. I'm so excited to be a part of a group doing big things like this!
Speaking of...I finally got totally honest and straightforward with my former instructor and mentor; I told her that I am not coming back to her troupe. It was so very hard to send that email, but she is being gracious about the whole situation. I can tell that she's hurt, but she wishes me well and hopefully will be at my future performances, cheering me on!
