For a while, back in early September I think, I called this journal "Pursuit of a Quiet Mind." I've since stopped calling it that, because I think that pursuit is endless. My mom’s husband John (stepdad, whatever) just said something very upsetting to me about my mom… not a negative thing or an insult, just an instance where the truth hits you really hard in the face one day out of nowhere. Reading about the alchemist teaching the boy to follow his heart.
