So I will be getting a new lap top as a grad gift.  I want a Mac.  I also know SQUAT about computers.  I am hoping my more technically inclined friends can help me find one that is perfect.

so all of a sudden my computer battery doesn't hold a charge.  when it is fully charged it lasts for 30 minutes.  The point of having a laptop is that is it PORTABLE!!! but now if I take it anywhere I need to have my charger with me.  it feels like this is a very recent thing.  I have already replaced the battery on this laptop so i am really not ( Read more... )

Well even thought I was freaked out to no end I managed to fix the catastrophe of all catastrophes.  I had tripped over my lap top cord which caused my computer to come crashing to the ground and ruined the plug.  This is a major issue since my battery only lasted for 20 minutes at a time before it died totally.  Luckily I got to the Mac store ( Read more... )

SO I finally got my comp totally defragged at the office.  It is SO NICE to have it all working.  On the advice of people I know and the IT guy I will only use FireFox to do my onlining.  I finally after a long but successful meeting feel like I have a lot of direction for what I am doing.  WOO HOO!!!
