We got the tail end of Hurricane Ike yesterday afternoon. Winds gusting up to 75mph which, had it been sustained at that kind of level, would have made it an actual hurricane instead of a windstorm. But it was enough to snap off four-inch thick branches off trees in our yard - one landed on the neighbour's fence, but other than that, no harm done ( Read more... )
