We got the tail end of Hurricane Ike yesterday afternoon. Winds gusting up to 75mph which, had it been sustained at that kind of level, would have made it an actual hurricane instead of a windstorm. Isabella was at her grandmother's on Wednesday night, so Amy and I took the opportunity to redecorate her room a little. We moved the furniture around, added a few pictures, and we had these little wooden cut-out animals, so we added magnetic strips to the back of them and attached them to a whiteboard for her to play with. It seems to work pretty well. Except that I can't specify a user icon. Still, it's pretty slick; especially compared to their mobile web interface.

I can see myself using this again.

I bought myself a new phone a few days ago. It's probably slightly geeky of me, but my primary criterion was the ability to run this program. But, overall, it's probably the best phone I've ever owned. Certainly the most powerful and flexible.

20 years ago, my first computer had a whopping 1 kilobyte of memory.

Today my new phone has a 32 megabyte MMC card. Plus, there's 10K (I think, but I can't find any hard data on this) on the SIM card, and some internal memory, too.
