There was still something to be said for the cool breeze and warm air; the open windows and bright sunny days. She loved waking up at 9 a.m. with him still wrapped around her and the alarm blessedly silent.
Seven days.
Seven whole days without mention of school or Spanish or those kids, those intruders, those other loves of his life.
He wakes slowly and she runs a hand through his curls.
"Any plans today, Will?"
"Just spending the day with you, Ter."
