I've decided (in a moment of brilliance which occurred just now) that in order to keep myself thinking more positively and help myself feel better about myself, I'm going to keep track of the goals I achieve - no matter how small - and the nice things about life that I notice every day for the next... er, however long it takes to get me thinking positively consistently. I'm going to write them here because I want to hold myself accountable for doing it. You can skip these posts, as they're really probably not going to be particularly interesting, unless you're just nosy.
So without further ado....
Achievements:
* I got to work in time to open the store this morning, despite the universe's attempt to slow me down with about 800 bicycles. (Some kind of bike marathon/triathlon thing.)
* I e-mailed the people I interviewed with at the Science Museum to see if they've made some kind of decision yet about the job.
* I'm starting to get the hang of scanning books in at work, even though it was only my third time doing it. I actually enjoy doing it.
Fun Stuff:
* I played Beatles Rock Band with James and Kristin. I haven't seen Kristin since Faire season ended, so it was awesome to see her! The game was soooooo much fun! Also, James and I did some ass kicking on the vocals after Kristin left.
Pretty things:
* The sky was really blue this morning as I was coming over the bridge. Gorgeous color.
* Tonight the sky is very clear, and I felt like I could see every star in the sky when I was getting out of my car. If it were warmer, I probably would have stayed out longer just to watch, because it truly is beautiful out here on those kind of nights.
That's all for tonight. Today was a good day, and I had lots of fun tonight. Time for reading and sleep!
