Obligatory VARF post
Hey, guys!
This is a reminder that VARF starts this weekend and will be running for the next five weekends. You should all come check it out!

I will be the heroine of this year's script, so please come watch me! My friends and I have put a lot of work into it. (You're going to LOVE Fox and Glove!) The only day I won't be there is May 30th, since that's the day I'll be watching Julie and Eli tie the knot (it's about time!). However, if that's the only day you can make it, I'm sure you'll be impressed by my understudy, Kristi. She's a great actress (and also plays the aforementioned Fox when she isn't doing understudy duty.)
In addition to the regular cast, we have a number of stage performers, including but not limited to the astounding Sashenka the Great. (That's former Skiffy sec-treas Kristy Downs to most of you.) She is quite bendy and also walks the dreaded slack rope OF DOOM. *grin*
There are also a lot of cool vendors with pretty stuff for sale. (If I actually had money, I'm pretty sure I'd blow it all at faire.) The food is also generally very good. I'm not sure how many of the vendors will take credit cards, so you'll probably want to have cash with you, just in case.
You should definitely bring sunscreen, bug spray, and an umbrella with you, as it is outside and in unpredictable Virginia weather. It's also a lot more fun to come with a group of friends.
