Good things for today
* I met a new girl at work today. She reads fantasy books and owns a horse! :D I already friended her on facebook.
* I looked at kitties in the store today! I saw a really cute grey one that is a little older than what I have been looking for, but he definitely has potential, as he is soft and pretty. I didn't hold him or play with him, though, because I didn't want to get too attached until Doug was there, too, since he has to like whatever cat I get, but he's supposed to go look at him with me sometime this week. I also found out from the Heritage Humane Society website that they had a deal going on with kittens ($4 to adopt) in August, and it's still listed that way on their website, so I might be able to get a younger cat for cheaper if for some reason the grey one doesn't work out. I'm getting very excited about the possibility that I will have a new kitty even sooner than I dared hope.
* Exercise! Yay! Ok, so all I did was run/walk on my weird little exercise machine thing. It still makes me feel all accomplished. :)
* Plans are afoot for a cool trip to NYC with Becky and possibly Nic. We're just beginning to discuss the idea, so it may never happen (seeing as how Nic probably doesn't even know about it yet *waves at Nic*), but just the idea has me feeling really good. It's fun to think about, and hopefully we can get our schedules coordinated enough to make it work. I could even visit my cousin Trey, who I miss bunches and bunches!
* Bollywood movies are fun, even when they have sad endings! The one I watched tonight is called "Saawariya." Don't even ask me to pronounce it!
Today was really busy at work, so I'm exhausted. Today was a good day. Time for some reading and much sleep. Tomorrow I'm off and intend to be productive!
