she breathes and she thinks for that one string in time she can feel his fingers brush against her cheek and his lips lightly graze over hers. taeyeon keeps her eyes closed because it's the only moment she can remember them having. their first kiss, their last kiss, his kiss (and it's all slipping through her fingers, but it's not like she's stopping it. instead she stares as the memory falls one piece at a time, until she's left with nothing - except room to make new ones.)
she thinks it's the typical sm love story, and that lee soo man illustrates them all. he writes them all with the same beginning, same middle, and same end.
(they'll feel the world shatter and lose its color, and in a moment of weakness and loneliness they'll give in. they'll fall into something that isn't really there, but damn, it sure does look like love. they'll trip and get bruises, get a little scratched up - but the color slowly creeps back into the picture only to be shaken up again and poured into a whole different image; not the painting of love, but the picture of their careers. of their success. and in that moment most people are blinded by that artwork, the greatness of it. but not taeyeon - because she sees the hidden beauty in the picture abandoned and broken, the pieces are still together but she can see the little cracks that make it what it is.

'what?' he asks with this laugh thats fills her ears with this charm.
