And now for the 'locked' post...
There has been a LOT of crap going on where my 'friends' are concerned. One of these things has to do with a girl, who, while I have never met her, I have a really bad feeling about her. So when I was asked by Vampy and Dante about this girl I told them that I had no interest in getting involved with her because she is bad news. They also asked me if they should hang out with her and I said "Just be careful". They wanted to know details, I wouldn't give them any, because quite honestly, I don't want to be involved in any drama. Especially with this person. All this happened a few months ago. Well, Dante decided to meet up with her and hang out. They become great friends. Which is fine. I'm happy that he found a good friend in her. However, now she has asked him to ask her permission before hanging out with any of his old friends. And if she says "No", he's not allowed. (Note that they are just friends... they are NOT dating.) Well, this kinda annoys me and I tell him as much. He turns around and tells everyone that I am pissed off because he is not hanging out with me and that I don't want to see him happy. (Which couldn't be farther from the truth. I AM happy he found someone. Also, what he doesn't know is that I was really happy when he started hanging out with her because he stopped hitting on me finally.) However, now he has told this girl that he was warned about her from me and now she is out to get me. She even contacted my Padrino pretending to be all interested in Santeria when all she wanted to do was talk shit about me. (That really pissed him off.) It's all just a load of crap.
So what it comes down to, it that those I have grown to trust, have turned on me and betrayed me for a new-comer. It crushed me and hurt deeply.. But after my solitary drive in the rain that I mentioned in my last post, I feel that everything has been put into perspective and I know that I can't trust them anymore. I was a little worried when I first realized that she had contacted my Padrino under the "I want to know all about Santeria" guise. But after talking to him (he brought it up because he wanted to warn me about her), I felt much better. I'm glad to know that he wont be taking her in as a god-daughter as well and that he realized for himself what kind of person she is without me even saying anything to him. Well, I need to get going. P will be home soon anyway.
