Third day off from work this week. Aside from quite a few strolls around my apartment complex, I hadn't left my flat since Sunday afternoon. Needless to say, I'm going stir-crazy! It's been snowing all day! Little more than flurries, but it's still a lot of fun to see. We only get a dusting snow a handful of times a year, so I'm sure the kids will be wild about it tomorrow. Plus, Monday's low will be 10F. I love the chill, but I'm not quite equipped for it ( Read more... )

Crazy day. The local news has been predicting snow, but I assumed it was just the usual hyperbole. 1. Snow day! We only got a dusting of snow, sleet, and rain, but most of it fell while the temps were slightly above 32. Tomorrow morning's temp is supposed to be 15, and that combined with the slush on hilly roads will cause some treacherous school bus routes. I'm certainly not complaining! Snow again! We've gotten about two inches at my place. I know it's nothing compared to the dreadful cold elsewhere, but we only get snow maybe once a year if we're lucky. So yeah, I'm pretty excited.
