So, long-overdue linkspam?

-- Grantland visited the Parks & Rec set while they filmed last night's episode. Glad to hear it's such a pleasant place! (ETA: For some reason, LJ won't let me post the link. So, go here and scroll down.)
-- Vulture (which has become one of my favorite blogs) analyzes TV's extended family trees courtesy of actors on multiple shows, and explains why the slog of pilot season is awful for both actors and viewers.
-- Michael K. Williams from The Wire made a video supporting marriage equality in Maryland. "Join us, or Omar gonna come at you." Hee!
-- Charlie Brooker rails against being forced to overshare.
-- Aww, yay! The A.V. Club revisits the BSG episode "33".
-- They also recently did a four-part interview with Alex Ganza about Homeland's first season.
-- The Panopticon share excerpts from an 1859 primer about children's manners.
-- Mental Floss has a surprising explanation of when Americans lost their British accent.
-- I love this timelapse video of Iceland's nightless summer. Someday I really must travel there!
-- And finally, io9 takes on a point-by-point comparison of Battle Royale and The Hunger Games. Surprisingly, neither the writer nor the commenters wholesale trashes HG, which is what usually happens in those posts. (I'm so sick of seeing someone always mutter "Sounds like a BR ripoff!" whenever HG is mentioned.)
