So I took the daughter unit to Bowman Educational Services today.

I hope with this visit we have reached a turning point in the whole school thing. A point where action will come into the picture instead of the incessant meetings and discussions that have marked our journey up until now.

nightwolfwriter talked to the contractor today. Wednesday is supposed to be the day the begin demolition of the old kitchen! Whee! I have to admit, I'm looking forward to this. I have tile in my front entryway and the kitchen now. The tile in the kitchen has yet to be grouted, but at least it's down. The remnants of my beautiful wood floors and my dismantled microwave cart and bookshelf turned pantry are gone as well. The kitchen is currently, well, a little empty. We're getting ready to move, as in play musical rooms with our possessions that is. The contractor has started doing stuff on the first level in addition to finishing up the basement.
