Kitchen Countdown
nightwolfwriter talked to the contractor today. Wednesday is supposed to be the day the begin demolition of the old kitchen! Whee! I have to admit, I'm looking forward to this. I've gotten kind of sentimental about other parts of the house, but I've always hated this kitchen. :-D I am so looking forward to this!
Well, maybe not the mess. To get ready we've had to empty out all the cabinets. To be fair we started a long time ago. Lots of the non-essentials have been packed away for months. Looking forward to getting all the bins and boxes out of the dining room, too!
Other than that, the only thing I have to report is I got the results of the daughter unit's testing. Let's just say I think we have sufficient evidence to get her back on an IEP. I think I may call the school and see if I can get things rolling before the first of the school year. The testing identified the problem areas. Now we have to see about putting strategies in place to mitigate them.
