Daughter's Dance Class

I think I mentioned the daughter unit is liking her Irish Step dancing class. The only thing she isn't enjoying is lacing and tying the shoes.

Have to admit they're unusual things. They kind of remind me of the little soft shoes she used to do ballet in. The ones that had one or two strips of elastic across the instep.

The Irish soft shoes are an entirely different thing. The shoe is similar in construction, but it laces up almost like a sneaker.

I'm sure they'll look *ahem* nice with her new stockings we found for the Halloween season. Hope her instructor has a sense of humor...
