Pardon me, dear, but there's a deer on your lawn...
nightwolfwriter went to get the daughter unit from a friend's house and were surprised when a doe walked out in front of the car in front of us. We were even more surprised when we followed her path and saw she and a couple of her friends were having a little deer convention in someone's front yard.
I figured they'd be gone once I went up to the house and fetched my daughter, but no, they were still there when we came out. nightwolfwriter angled the car so that the headlights shone in the yard and she could see. Again, I thought we'd spook them, but they just looked at us, almost like they were saying, "We're grazing here, do you mind? ;-)
