A plea to the praying types

Dan and I were awoken at 8:30 this morning by Oz having a seizure. At first I thought he was dreaming because his paws were "running" and he was making noise, then I realized it was something more serious. Dan and I rushed over to him and all we could do was watch. Dan stroked his side and I kept Sophia away from his face. She was trying to come up and lick him, I know she was just checking on him, but I didn't want her to get hurt.  Oz had urinated on himself and was foaming at the mouth. I was able to stay calm until his pupils got HUGE and he had this blank stare on his face like he wasn't even there. That's when I lost it. He probably only had the seizure for a few minutes, but if felt like an hour.

Afterwards he got up and we took him outside and he pooped. He was acting normal and we washed the urine off his belly and he ate the treats we used to bribe him to the tub with. After Dan finished drying him, he came running in to find me in the office. I was in here finding a local vet.  I sent Dan off with him because I am too emotional and probably would make matters worse for Oz. Also we have our new furniture being delivered today and all of our stuff is coming from Los Angeles, which we can't reschedule.

I am sitting here trying to come up with anything that could have caused this. He got his vaccines before we left Los Angeles. I just gave him heart worm preventative, and my mom was wondering if it could be some chemicals they cleaned the place with. I am not sure what it could be. None of those above things are affecting Sophia, and she is the most sensitive of the two.

So please keep my Ozzy boy in your thoughts today. I'll post when we know more.
