A thousand little things

... will eat up your day as surely as a few big ones.

Today, I did the second part of the weekly grocery shopping (the offers changing every two or three days). Then I helped Mum take her weekly shower and wash her hair. She volunteered to cook today, so I could take a hour-long nap, which was sorely needed after two very short nights.

Oh, and we also had laundry day! Joy, joy - not, especially, as we had the bedding changed today, which means big, clumsy pieces of laundry that had somehow to be hung up to dry inside the flat!

In the afternoon I made cat-in-the-sac gift box #40 and the body of the 5th (and last) little angel. I also took the photo of Frosty the snowman, with his lopsided gift box and his hand-knitted scarf, of which I'm still irrationally proud. ;))

Look at him - isn't he cute?

I then called my cousin Andrew to congratulate him on his name day, so there was social life as well.

In the early evening I've prepared everything I could in advance for tomorrow's baking session; 4 more batches are planned. I still haven't written my mandatory "at-least-one" sentence, but I'm planning to do so later. I can't end picowrimo with a day of no words at all, now can I?
