My grandfather and I shared some tastes in books. Specifically, GM Fraser, Farley Mowat, and Patrick McManus, among others.

It sounds like my grandfather is still in the hospital. He went in a couple weeks ago because he passed out from low blood sugar. Note to diabetics: If you take a glucophage and don't eat, it's a bad thing. So his blood sugar was really low.
