Sunny Doncaster
Hi Girlies,
I am off to Doncaster again this weekend. There has been an offer on the Hall and the person buying the place wants all the antiques too. So J and I need to go down and pick up anything we want from his family home before it all goes. If the sale goes through, then the new owners want to be in by the end of April. Sad days. This is probably the last time we will be in the hall. It kind of feels like Ethel is dying all over again. I have had a tough couple of weeks at work. I am ready for my next holiday. Holiday-previously the cottages J inheritted got their water from the private well attached to the land from the Hall. It appears as though J will have to build a water well independent of the Hall. This means it is very unlikely that we will take much of a holiday this year. Growing up and having responsibility is not always fun.
