Really busy lately, so haven't been able to catch up - if I missed something important, tell me!
So... real quick, random stuff.
Joe's company has a marketing analyst position that I would be fantastic for. He gave my resume to the appropriate party and talked up my skills - hoping for good things!
The County Pound is having an adoption special this weekend - $9.99 adoption fee (plus license and tags and stuff for a total of $46.99) to celebrate 09/09/09 yesterday. (Also the fact that they're overrun with adoptable animals.) So, even though it's a little sooner than we planned, we may go this weekend to look at dogs.
The irrigation is done in the back yard, and Joe went this morning to the plant nursery to discuss our order. We actually ordered - and paid for! - the plants three years ago, but we're only getting to receiving them now. They're going to be delivered and installed October 2nd! And we can sell the Ditch Witch now, and use that money to finish the pool!
Catherine is as adorable as ever. She's learning new words regularly, and, even if she can't say some things, she understands them. She's spending Saturday night at Mumsy and Poppy's this weekend. Joe and I are considering hitting the casino - haven't been to one since long before she was born.
Still don't have the Cricut doing what it's supposed to do, and their tech support has the least convenient hours possible.
I haven't abandoned my anti-Obamacare crusade, but I've had to put it on hold because I haven't had time to do the research (quick note to the President: next time you want to be bipartisan, it would help if you were a little less...partisan, you know?)
