Tomorrow, the maintenance peoples will commence work on our bathrooms. They're (hopefully) starting with J's since he is having a guest this weekend and I would rather not have two people waltzing through my room to use the bathroom (since my bathroom is an en suite, see, whereas J's is in the hall). So once I've directed the crew to which bathroom they should start on, I'll be hightailing it for the wilds of the city since bathroom work seems likely to be noisy (re-tiling and such).
While adrift from the apartment, I am hoping to (finally) make it to the DMV to get a Maryland ID card (and register to vote!). I think I've got two proof of address things. *fingers crossed that they are, in fact, the "proper" kind the DMV is looking for* I've been wandering around with my passport since my California ID expired on my birthday, and while no one seems to bat an eye at it, I do feel a tad strange wandering around my own country with a passport.
So, wish me luck at the DMV! (Oh, sorry, MVA - they want me to think that if they call themselves the Motor Vehicle Administration they're not as evil as the DMV?)
And then tomorrow night, my first class! For real this time! It is Children's Lit and I have already begun researching term paper topics even though the class hasn't met yet because yes, I am that kind of a dork, and I am not ashamed. :)
(Yes, I have a "bathrooms" tag. Because I am awesome. Or weird. Insane? You know you love me. :P )
