I'm moved in. So far, living with three guys is not nearly as awkward as people have made it out to be. We rarely see each other due to our work/class schedules, and we pretty much keep to ourselves. I got a text from my manager:

"We need to have a talk ASAP. Let me know when you can come in this weekend."

I called him, and he said that after the District Manager's review, he's had to do a one-on-one talk with everyone. I'm going in tomorrow afternoon.

This doesn't sound like good news...

Yesterday was slow, so my assistant manager (E) and I did some rearranging of shelf merchandise according to how corporate wants it. We put out a bunch of new merchandise, including two very small TVs, one of which wasn't much bigger than a can of Spam. There was no way to tether it down or even stick a cord into it. Today was SLOOOOOOOOOOOW. No birthday parties, only four of us were working to day, and one was sent home early. It was going OK, although fairly dull. Yesterday, it was unbearably hot in the concessions area, so I wore shorts today instead of pants ( Read more... )
